Opt-out & takedown
MyTribeMyVibe aggregates publicly-shared community events and links back to the original source. If you'd like your venue, account, or a specific event removed, we'll honor it promptly.
Use the form below and include, where you can:
- the source (page, account, group, or website) or the event link
- whether you want a one-time removal or a permanent opt-out
- your relationship to the source (so we can verify)
We aim to action requests within a few days and will stop ingesting from an opted-out source going forward.
What gets deleted, and what we keep
You can delete your whole MyTribeMyVibe account yourself, from the menu under your avatar — or ask for it here. Either way your profile, your saved events and your sign-in methods are deleted, and your name and email address are scrambled rather than erased, so the moderation and audit history we have to keep survives with nothing left in it that points to you. Events you submitted stay on the site: they belong to the people who organized them, and they are credited to a deleted account.
To have some of your data removed without closing your account, name the event, venue or source in the form below. Separately, and without anyone having to ask: the original message an event was read from is deleted once that event has been reviewed, and in every case within 30 days; a flyer is kept only where we published the event, because it is that event's picture; and detailed visit records are deleted after 180 days, leaving only anonymous daily counts. Deleting your account unlinks your name from those counts straight away.
